SugoiFinds is an independent guide to discovering Japanese products and buying them from overseas. We are not a store: we sell nothing, hold no inventory, and ship nothing. That independence is the basis of every guide we publish.
How we research
- Official sources first. Fees, storage periods, and shipping options are taken from each service's official pricing and help pages, and we link to them.
- Real user experiences. We aggregate reviews from Trustpilot and communities such as Reddit to reflect how services perform in practice — including the complaints.
- Dates on data. Prices and ratings change. We state when figures were checked (e.g. "as of July 2026") and update guides when we learn they are out of date.
- No invented experiences. If we haven't personally used a service, we do not pretend otherwise. Aggregated user reports are always labeled as such.
Independence
Rankings and recommendations are never sold. Affiliate partnerships (see ourAffiliate Disclosure) do not influence how we rate or order services — several of our top picks earn us nothing at all.
Corrections
If you find an error — a fee that changed, a policy we misread, a link that broke — we want to fix it. Corrections are applied to the article itself with the updated date shown.
